I appreciate this article, but I'd really appreciate more advice/info for trans men as well. It feels like we are often forgotten about in our own community and our needs and challenges are different than those of trans women.

That's a fair point and I appreciate you raising it and I should have worded the title differently. For tips specific to trans men I fear you will have to seek writers with that experience.

Would you mind getting rid of your troll who has cleverly created a blank account to harass people in here? She's a TERF named Aki.

Oh what, can't handle the truth?

Woe is me little trans "man" crying when presented with the facts of life.

At this point your "community" is so disgusting I want no part of it. I'll toss my HRT and embrace the right before I call people like you my ally. Trumps going put you back in the closet where you belong.

Go rope yourself and try not to kill some innocent children in the process Hale Jr.

Most definitely. They do forget and talk like it's only about transwomen. No wonder they don't know we exist. Our own people drop the ball. Women are more palpable and think they own the whole show. LOL

I don't see your ilk getting slaughtered for presenting.

No such thing as a trans man just confused privileged women speaking on topics they have no business in.

Expand full comment

Bullshit, whoever you are. Go troll someone else. Sounds like you think the same thing about transwomen in the reverse. Get lost, TERF bigot and suck my dick.

Expand full comment

You don't even have a dick to suck.

You have a gross fruit roll up skin graft that can't penetrate anything.

Your words have no power over me, your kind and the non binary freaks ruined it for us legitimate trans-sexual people.

Hahahahahaha. You are a dumb one, aren't you? Uneducated ignorant fools like you need to go to hell and do not pass go!

Expand full comment

Nah, I live in reality and see exactly why we're on the map.

You lot with Buck Angel, Aubry Hale, and now this Chase freak at the supreme court have ruined it for us all.

Go join the 41%. You won't be missed.

My first thought too. It’s disappointing to read something labeled for trans people and get a few lines in only to realize I’m excluded. If someone means “tips for transwomen” they should say that

Maybe thats because the HRT kit for the jokes that are "trans masc" is a flannel shirt and a hair cut?

Sit down, your kind caused enough trouble in Nashville and now before the supreme court. Your input is worthless.

Expand full comment

Quite the contrary. It is you who is worthless, along with your unwanted input. You will never make us go away, hateful wench. TERFs make everybody sick.

Expand full comment

Terfs and the old DSM kept our community safe and out of the public eye.

You informed consent freaks brought us into the spot light and shot up a christian school. Way to go.

You only try to act like men because you have cock envy and want to be a part of the patriarchy. You're as fake as the AGP males who put on a wig and call themselves women.

guys, let’s not do this trans. Women are being attacked globally right now especially black trans. Women more than any other group now is not the time. Our trans sisters are black trans sisters need you less stand in solidarity… OK?

Expand full comment

Trans men also need support and solidarity.

Expand full comment

No let's absolutely do this. Call out these "men" where ever they go. Make them unwelcome.

No such thing as a transmasc. All they've brought is trouble. First in Nashville which put us all on the map, and now before the Supreme Court because the confused squeeky voiced woman doesn't have the common sense to drop the case.

They don't belong under the T umbrella. EZ mode cry babies.

Expand full comment

Oh woe is me, Trans men live life on EZ mode. Cry harder.

Most of these apply to transmen as well. If they spark your creativity, think of the differences and publish another article with them in there. I think there's something going on with transmen that is very concerning. Just like we can't wait for the cisgender heterosexual world to save us, transmen can't wait for transwomen to save us. We have to take a bunch of steps too and become more vocal. Yes????

Expand full comment

No such thing as a trans man, only confused women who haven't had some proper sense fucked into them.

Don't worry, you're about to get it under Trump.

In states that don't allow bear or pepper spray, you can carry cheap perfume.

A cop told me to get stinky perfume and that always makes me laugh

Don't buy into all that tacticool BS for self-defense. Pepper spray, taser, gun, ordered by escalation. Everything else is a waste of money that could get you hurt or killed.

fair enough. I've got bearspray for hiking anyway

I currently do want to move. I know California some East Coast states most of the West Coast and Canada are great places for trans people. I just don’t know how to get there. I work at Trader Joe’s and I make a decent wage but still not enough to live out there, I’m wondering if I should work two jobs and get roommates or go back to school both of which would probably take as long as Trump’s presidency for me to see any fruition. I currently live in Michigan now and the places that our gay Safehaven aren’t really it’s becoming gentrified with a lot of of upper middle class straight families that are Trump supporters.

A tip for the Voice… Whether you are needing help with your true voice or accessing your dead voice when you need to, talk to a vocal coach for good techniques. I’m sure there are plenty out there willing to do discounted or free services in this particular case in these circumstances.
